3D web interface

To make created 3D models usable online, we can provide a dedicated web interface that can be adapted to your company’s corporate identity (CI). It allows users to view and interact with 3D models directly in a standard browser: rotate, pan, and zoom.

Measurements

Because the 3D models are created to scale, users can perform simple measurements with just a few clicks, such as lengths, widths, heights, or areas.

Video conferencing

If required, the web interface can be extended so that multiple users can meet virtually inside the model and review it together. Communication is possible via video and/or audio, similar to an MS Teams or Zoom call. Control can either be managed by an admin or by each user individually.

Additional features (selection)

*Embedding media (audio, video, documents, etc.)
*Linking external content, for example websites via iFrame
*Google Maps integration
*Download option for various file types
*Hosting multiple 3D models within one web interface
…and much more

Deployment of the web interface

*Hosting on our server (customers receive their own URL)
*Uploading the data to a virtual customer server

Controls in the 3D web interface

Hold left mouse button + move mouse = rotate model
Hold right mouse button + move mouse = pan / move model
Mouse wheel = zoom in/out
In addition, you can use W-A-S-D to move and Q and E to move up and down.

Measurement panel (bottom right)

Using the panel in the bottom right corner, you can perform simple measurements within the 3D model. The plus icon starts or ends a measurement. Alternatively, you can end an active measurement by double-clicking the last point or by closing a polygon (set the last point on the first).

The circular arrow clears all measurements.

The camera icon allows you to create and save screenshots of the current view.
